Acute Care Hospitals Receive ‘A’ Grades and Top Hospital Recognition from The Leapfrog Group
UHS is proud to announce that eight Acute Care hospitals were awarded an ‘A’ grade in the fall 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, two hospitals were named a Top General Hospital and one hospital was named as a Top Teaching Hospital.

Acute Care Division Announces Nursing Leadership Council
This collaborative group of nine UHS Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs) will provide the structure to empower Hospital CNOs in all the Acute Care markets to drive clinical care redesign efforts to reduce variation and drive continuous and systemic improvements, while contributing collaboratively as decision makers on the nursing practice environment.
